Československá psychologie is an open access (under the licence of the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0), peer-reviewed journal that appears in six issues a year. The journal publishes only original papers, i.e., papers that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. Submitted texts which receive positive reviews are accepted by the editor-in-chief and published in the relevant section of the journal (e.g. theoretical papers, research studies, reviews, methodical communications, preliminary communications, discussions, reflections, or contributions from various areas of practice, such as clinical practice, reports, and book reviews).
Československá psychologie is indexed in the Web of Science, SCOPUS, and PsycINFO. The full text of articles has been available since 2006 via ProQuest Central and since 2009 also via Academic Search Ultimate (EBSCO). The full text of articles published since 1957 can be found in the Digital Library of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Starting from issue 1/2021, all texts accepted for publication are assigned a DOI.
